The great Sun Kosi, the legendary 'river of gold' runs right across the face of the Himalaya, its massive mountain fed volume carving a route out to the plains. We run it all the way, 9 days of whitewater paradise, world famous rapids, mostly class 4, some 5. Safety is paramount for our groups, good instructors, good rafts, full briefing from the start and safety gear at all times. Our safety kayakers advance check the line of each rapid as they change from season to season. We do some kayak training at lunch and night stops as well, but you can do a full kayak option as well (see price above). On the this run the are no roads, just remote villages, gorgeous scenery, monkey jungle and sandy beaches where we set up camp, sit round the driftwood fire and joke and dream under the bright Himalayan stars. Good times.
