Wales from the top!

Staying in comfort at Terra Firma base at Lake Vyrnwy, on the eastern edge of Snowdonia, all excellent food, accommodation and good cheer included. You just turn up anytime on the Thursday evening, and we make the very best of the time until the final lunch on the Monday. These are our local hills, and we know all the best routes on them, taking in the amazing diversity of the stunningly beautiful North Wales landscape.

We have full days moderate hillwalking on Cadair Idris, the Berwyns to Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, and, of course, Snowdon itself. Being based at Lake Vyrnwy means we can be flexible to avoid any 'localized' weather - if the Glyders get rained on we know just about every alternative walk in the area! This weekend is great fun every year.

The Welsh Munros weekend is perfect if you're planning to join a longer trek and you need some encouragement and expert advice on choosing the right grade for you. See Terra Firma in action!
